This may sound bad for tea cheers, but a recent study claims that drinking hot tea increases the risk of developing isophagus (esophageal) cancer.

According to the study, those who drink tea at 75 degrees Celsius daily, this danger increases more than doubling.

According to Lead Athar Farhad Islami of the American Cancer Society, many people are fond of drinking tea, coffee or other drinks hot. However, according to the study’s report, drinking too much tea increases the risk of Esophageal cancer.

The study included 50,045 people, who were 40 to 75 years old. The result was that if drinking at 700 mL hot tea daily (60 degrees Celsius or more), then the risk of esophagus cancer increases by 90 percent.
